| Description: | A classic stage known for its many single lane bridges (11 to be exact). Starts open and sweeping along the valley floor, before a tight and twisty hill climb at approx 4 kilometres. The road remains very winding and uphill for the next 8 kilometres, before descending along fast and flowing valley roads to the finish control. Road is smooth throughout the stage. 20 minutes Service in Kaitaia after stage. |
