| 6 | Port Waikato | 17.22kms | 09:08 | Narrow at the start opens up past Limestone Downs with a flowing finish. A variety of conditions makes this a technical stage. | |
| 7 | Possum | 13.78kms | 09:46 | A tight and narrow 5km uphill climb opens up to winding and flowing roads, tight in places. Similar to the Te Akau stages. Traditionally used by local Clubs this is a great drivers stage. | |
| 8 | Franklin | 31.58kms | 10:24 | Wider road for the start, which is both flowing and uphill, leads to a variety of road width, some fast, others tight and winding. Rock surface in places. Similar to the Te Akau stages. A technical stage which has caught out many drivers. | |
| 9 | Mystery Creek SS 2 | 3.14kms | 12:37 | This includes a jump and water splash. It provides great spectator appeal both live and on television. | |
| 10 | Te Akau South | 31.92kms | 15:03 | A traditional stage with good flowing roads on a variety of surfaces providing some opportunities for drivers to attack. | |
| 11 | Te Akau North | 32.36kms | 15:46 | Another traditional stage similar to SS10 with a tricky downhill section about halfway through. 1km of tarmac on Dixon Road. Continuing road realignment makes this a more open stage |
