No 2 Road 16.31kms 08:18   No 2 Rd. This is a beautiful piece of flowing county road to start. It then goes through some bush and past an intersection and tightens up, going down hill and then on through a lovely flowing road to bring you out at the top of Pyes Pa. Has a couple of tricky, cresty corners and will demand respect.
Kaharoa 8.89kms 08:59   Kaharoa. A great forest road. Quite fast, which is why the length is limited but challenging nevertheless. Reverse of SS3 last year.
Pinnacles 1 12.42kms 09:57   Pinnacles 1. Absolutely fabulous forest road. A challenging stage that is full of corners and crests to keep you awake. This is SS2 from last year in reverse. Finishes with 3km of great public road. Treat with respect.
Maniatutu Rd 1 12.53kms 10:42   Maniatutu Rd 1. New public road stage for this year. Very nice,
smooth and flowing, and quite fast at the end.
McIvor 9.98kms 12:16   McIvor Rd. A classic New Zealand rally stage that has been used for many years previously in both the WRC event and the Asia Pacific event. To be enjoyed.
Manawahe 13.03kms 12:37   Manawahe Rd. Another classic New Zealand rally stage, somewhat shorter version than either WRC or Asia Pacific have used but challenging nevertheless. If you can get some rhythm going you will really enjoy this stage.
Rotoehu 20.45kms 14:15   Rotoehu. Another new stage for this year and also the longest. Starts off on fast public road and then turns into the forest. These roads are also pretty fast, though there are some sections of really big gravel that will require slowing down and care. They will be marked.
Maniatutu Rd 2 11.76kms 14:58   Maniatutu 2. Another new stage and another beautiful county road. Second half is backwards through the start of SS4.
Pinnacles 2 7.44kms 16:01   Pinnacles 2. A short blast on the way back to town through our classic rallysprint stage. Very technical bit of road, and you’ve got to watch out for the drops on the right hand side after the left hand junction at the top.
