| 2 | Bull 1 | 35.97kms | 10:01 | This is part of the world famous Ararua Bull stage. The start on Porter Road is fairly quick until the right hander on to Ararua Road where the drivers really start work. This leads to the right hander on to the tarmac hill climb up Bull Road with many corners to the finish at Arcadia Road. Most drivers will take the opportunity to do a tyre swap here to get fresh rubber for the Cassidy stage which starts around the corner. | |

| 4 | NAC Insurance Pohe Island SS 1 | 1.5kms | 11:47 | The Whangarei Super Special Stage is designed purely for the spectators who can drive & park on the top of Pohe Island with great views of the stage below. The quick start on sweeping gravel leads to the hairpin lefthander. This is great spectator viewing. On Saturday Pohe Island will be hosting the local Lions Club Family Day as well as the Yamaha Dash for Cash so there will be plenty to see and do throughout the day. | |
